Superfast X, Stena Line
MS Stena Superfast X is a fast ropax ferry in service between Holyhead in the UK and Dublin in Ireland for Stena Line. She replaced Stena Nordica on the route in March 2015.
Madden Marine's Approach
This was a fun project for us and a little different from the norm. Happy the Dolphin is Stena Line's new unique character for the fleets children’s play areas. Madden Marine had the pleasure to be involved in the design layout of each of the spaces on a number of vessels and given the task of rolling these projects out in turn over 8 ships between the Irish Seas North and the Irish Sea South routes, whilst in service.
Work Carried Out
Building everything in sections in our workshop kept time on site to a minimum. With cave modules, slides, crawl spaces, padded step sections, themed underwater wall graphics, sound effects and ripple lighting this proved to be a real success with the kids. Well done once again to our workforce, not only providing our client with top quality design and workmanship but keeping disruption on board minimal and always a pleasure working with the ship’s staff.
