The Stena Adventurer is a large roll on/roll off passenger ferry operated by Stena Line on its Holyhead–Dublin route. She was launched in 2002 and entered service a year later.
Madden Marine's Approach
The Hygge Lounge was required to be a quiet and calming space in every way possible. The primary offering is an ergonomic recliner seat (designed & custom-fabricated by Madden Marine) with our client and guests in mind. These tailored seats are highly adaptable for ease-of-use in the long-term whilst creating a sense of immediate relaxation for each guest.
Work Carried Out
We renewed the flooring of the lounge with premium material for a luxurious feel. Decorative bulkheads were added to create a striking, modern aesthetic along with structural fire protection at the entrance doors in the lounge. With each Stena Line vessel being entirely unique, so too are the Hygge Lounge's on board. Having initially been installed on the Superfast VII and Superfast VIII, Hygge Lounges are now being rolled out across the fleet.
