MS Stena Lagan is a RoPax ferry operated by Stena Line between Birkenhead and Belfast. Stena Lagan was built in July 2005, as Lagan Viking, entering service with Norse Merchant Ferries later the same month. It was named after the River Lagan, the principal river in Belfast.
A design and build project with onsite construction time limited to 62 hours. This project required precision from design and survey through to micro management on site installation. A real challenge that was met head on and completed on time and to our usual high standard.
The front and back bar counters were manufactured in our workshop and assembled in sections on site. With the existing bar demolished, wall and ceiling panelling and floor coverings removed, the lounge underwent a complete transformation. New deck head panels, decorative wall panels, new wood effect flooring was installed along with all the associated lighting, plumbing and Hvac.
